Job Summary
The Senior Tax Analyst will be a critical part of the Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Property Tax. In this role, you will prepare property tax declarations, process bill backs of property taxes to dealers, agents, and tenants, and perform general ledger reconciliations of associated trial balance accounts. In addition, this individual will review site summaries for changes that impact property tax accounting.
Responsibilities- Prepare and/or review property tax compliance, including declarations.
- Prepare bill back of property taxes to dealers, agents, and tenants and reconcile associated trial balance accounts.
- Review site summaries for changes that impact property tax accounting (terminations, purchases, sales, dealer/agent changes, etc.).
- Assist with integration of property tax accounting for new sites, including acquisitions.
- Track and process property tax bills for payments.
- Prepare consolidated prepaid property tax reconciliations.
- Assist with property tax audits, including communication with auditors and responding to information requests.
- Obtain property tax work papers and assessment values, and file appeals as needed.
- Assist with internal audit requests.
- Prepare property tax pro-rates for the Legal Department for site sales.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external parties such as municipalities, landlords, and agents to resolve property tax issues.
- Assist with special projects, such as 1099 data collection and property tax abatements.
- 3–5 years of experience in property tax compliance.
- Accounting and general ledger experience; knowledge of PDI accounting system and Oracle Cloud preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.
- Experience with One Source Property Tax System preferred.

$89,700.00–$. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or team performance and market factors.
