As the first point of contact at Johns Creek City Hall, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents, visitors, and employees receive a warm and professional welcome. What You'll Do
  • Greet visitors, answer calls, and ensure all our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Keep City Hall connected by directing inquiries and coordinating communication across departments.
  • Provide essential administrative support that helps Facilities and City operations run smoothly.
  • Support the daily functions of City Hall through organization, coordination, and customer service excellence.
Skills You'll Need
  • Strong customer service and professional interpersonal skills
  • Clear communication skills and ability to stay calm in a customer-facing role
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to assess needs and direct customers appropriately
  • Familiarity with administrative support, data entry, and recordkeeping
What You Bring/Your Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to speak, write, and thoroughly comprehend English
  • Three (3) years of customer service, receptionist, administrative support, or related experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in local government
  • Ability to speak and comprehend a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, etc.)
