Job Title:
OI Case Liaison / Case Manager – Central Office, Decatur, GA (ADM).
Under broad supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties for assigned functions or program areas; may require research, investigation, drafting documents, and representing the program to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities and Duties- Process dispositions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor the casefile approval process to meet deadlines.
- Process all external case file requests (legal, secure facilities, etc.).
- Ensure the OQA database is updated upon case closure.
- Store, arrange, index, and classify records.
- Facilitate the development of filing systems and maintain them to meet administrative, legal, and DJJ requirements.
- Devise and implement retention and disposal schedules.
- Oversee the management of electronic and/or paper‑based information.
- Maintain, review, and ensure the accuracy of record systems.
- Identify the most appropriate records‑management resources.
- Advise on and implement new records‑management policies and classification systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Standardize information sources throughout the organization or a group of organizations.
- Manage the transfer from paper to electronic records‑management systems.
- Resolve problems with information management using software and other resources.
- Act as a liaison for internal/external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and advising on case management.
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of ITS and OQA entries and investigative records.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with agency staff and human resources personnel.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Initiative and independent decision‑making to meet deadlines.
- Leadership, coordination, and team‑working skills.
- High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of job‑related experience; ortwo (2) years of experience at the lower‑level Admin Assistant 2 (GST
051) or an equivalent position.
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Progressively responsible experience in case‑management systems such as Spillman.
- Experience in procurement processes.
- Normal office environment.
- Statewide travel periodically as required.
- Moderate lifting up to 15–30 pounds.
