A leading mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Project Manager to join its mission-critical construction team and oversee the successful delivery of hyperscale data center projects across Georgia

Project teams are supported by state-of-the-art prefabrication and manufacturing facilities that utilize advanced technology and off-site fabrication methods to improve quality, increase productivity, reduce project risk, and accelerate schedules.

As a Traveling Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work on landmark projects while collaborating with some of the industry's best construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of hyperscale data center projects throughout Georgia.
  • Coordinate all phases of mechanical construction, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, general contractors, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate field operations to maintain productivity and project milestones.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges while supporting field leadership and maintaining schedule commitments.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure accurate project reporting.
  • Promote a culture centered on safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects.
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data center construction.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical systems.
  • Proven success managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites throughout Georgia.
  • Previous mission-critical or hyperscale data center experience is highly preferred.
