About the roleWith general supervisory direction, you will be responsible for performing support functions for distribution operations, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and performing and documenting machine maintenance procedures. Additionally, it is expected that you will partner with engineering in developing methods and procedures to control or modify processes and be a leader in improving equipment maintenance practices.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration procedures, as well as author equipment maintenance and calibration procedures.
- Maintain, assess requirements, and order equipment spare parts.
- Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment problems to minimize down time and improve yields.
- Maintenance activities for automated PC and PLC controlled equipment.
- Identify, design, and implement process equipment, tooling, and fixture changes to improve reliability of the process.
- Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product.
- Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment.
- Assist in writing validation plans, executing plans and completing validation reports with engineering team.
- Assist in Value Improvement Projects (VIP) and other projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings.
- Collect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization and scrap reduction goals.
- Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery.
- Train and provide technical support or direction to warehouse personnel and other technicians.
- 3-5 Years with High School Diploma and/or Equivalent experience, training, or apprenticeships
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated to seek out opportunities to improve business performance.
- Communicates well with peers about issues/problems that arise.
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 8-10 years of related experience.
- Experience in maintaining automated conveyor and print/apply systems.
- Experience in PLC ladder logic troubleshooting preferably with Allen Bradley
- Distribution background
- Lean or Six Sigma experience
- Zebra industrial printer experience

Maximum Salary: $ 107120
The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
