The Electrical Engineer is responsible foremanging and coordinating the electrical aspects of facility and infrastructure projects. This role ensures that all electrical components from design and installation to testing and commissioning are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with codes and standards. The engineer works closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to define project requirements, develop schedules, and oversee progress to ensuretimelyand cost-effective delivery.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical systems, excellent project coordination skills, and the ability to translate technical requirements into successful project outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate the (mainly electrical) parts of all the projects.
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of the construction plans,identifyingpossible errors, having them repaired by the designer, compiling material and equipment requirements,submittinginvestmentrequirements,and technical monitoring.
- Compile the project plan and continuouslymonitoritsdevelopment(schedule, costs, etc.).
- Oversee the requesting of quotes, conductcomparisons, andpreparefinaldecisionson quotes.
- Accept any completed work after having any warranty repairs carried out.
- Support the Manager bysearching for suppliers, documenting projects, and any paperwork needed.
- Follow up and coordinate on a daily basiswith contractors.
- Responsible for monitoring anddocumentingany work changes to documentation ofthe project.
- Accountable for enforcing EHS and security aspects of all projects assigned.
- Responsible for the development ofallframework contracts (e.g.electrical equipment, generators, fire alarm systems).
- Must Have experience with 480 voltages (low voltage),
- Transformers installation on industrial buildings.
- Industrial building electrical installations of wiring and equipment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant fields.
At least 3+ years of professional experience in a similar field.
