Join Our Team as a Financial Services Supervisor Are you passionate about public service, regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent customer service? This role oversees the City's business and alcohol licensing, stormwater utility billing, and other revenue programs while supervising staff and ensuring accurate billing, permitting, and compliance. You will serve as a subject-matter expert, resolving complex issues, improving processes, and supporting departments and customers to strengthen service delivery across the City.

WhatYou ll Do
- Oversee revenue and licensing programs
:
Lead staff to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing, permitting, and collections. - Provide analysis and reporting
:
Support decision-making through research, financial and operational reports, and audit support. - Ensure compliance and customer resolution
:
Interpret ordinances, approve actions, and resolve complex or sensitive issues. - Drive continuous improvement
:
Oversee strong procedures, internal controls, staff development, and cross-department coordination.
- Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and GASB standards in a public-sector environment.
- Strong leadership and office management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and financial or specialty software.
- Clear, professional communication and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and apply municipal codes, ordinances, and policies.
- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Four years progressively responsible experience with at least two years supervisory experience in finance, customer service, billing, licensing or regulatory environment
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
- Possession of a valid driver s license issued by the State of Georgia.
- Two or more years of experience in municipal finance
- Experience with Tyler, Munis, or similar ERP systems.
