Salary $175,000 - $220,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Controller to join our team in the Healthcare industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and finance, with a particular emphasis on revenue recognition with a private equity backed company.

Proficiency in Netsuite and a CPA certification are preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements.
• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Working closely with the private equity team to manage financial transactions and investments.
• Utilizing Netsuite to streamline and automate financial management.
• Collaborating with the anesthesia team to manage financial aspects related to this specific area.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience (Preferably in the Healthcare industry)
• Advanced degree in Accounting is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills - especially Netsuite.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Fresh Books and Quick Books.
• Proven experience in revenue recognition and private equity.
• Experience in the financial aspects of anesthesia is a plus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
