We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and serve as a trusted business partner to leadership. This individual will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and cash management while driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and cost control across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in manufacturing environments and is comfortable balancing hands‑on execution with strategic insight. This role will partner closely with operations to align financial practices with production, inventory, and supply chain activities, while providing proactive recommendations to improve performance and profitability. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data, strengthening internal controls, and supporting key business decisions.
Duties- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and operational efficiencies across manufacturing and business processes.
- Partner with leadership and cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision‑making.
- Serve as a proactive financial advisor, bringing forward ideas and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and reconciliation.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of financial processes to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.
- Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with organizational goals and manufacturing cost structures.
- Perform cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and governmental reporting requirements.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and financial matters.
- Utilize ERP and accounting systems to support accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing and operations teams to monitor production costs, inventory, and supply chain impacts on financial performance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
- Experience in manufacturing environments with an understanding of cost accounting and inventory management.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, cash management, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of internal controls and financial compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with a strategic and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to operate both hands‑on and at a strategic level in a small, collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA license.
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
