This role is also primarily responsible for coordinating, billing, and collecting the City Stormwater Fees.

What You'll DoHandle, bill, and track City revenues including stormwater, business and alcohol licenses, and other taxes and fees.
Review and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
Prepare reports and support improvements by analyzing processes, creating financial reports, and helping enhance efficiency and controls.
Assist customers and coordinate collections by maintaining accounts, answering questions, and working with third-party collection agencies when needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of accounting experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
- Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting, fund accounting, GAAP, and GAAS.
- At least one (1) year of accounting experience in the public sector/municipal finance.
- Experience with complex revenue analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to identify risks and efficiencies in revenue and accounting systems.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Tyler Munis, or similar.

We offer competitive wages starting from $56,512 - 62,294 annually
. This position is exempt.
