Seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Engineer to design, implement, administer, and support enterprise Windows Server environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, performance, and availability of Windows-based infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Active Directory, virtualization, automation, patch management, and enterprise security practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, and newer).
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.
  • Perform server provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
  • Deploy and maintain VMware and/or Hyper‑V virtual environments.
  • Configure and manage Windows Failover Clustering and high‑availability solutions.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, hardening standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage patching and vulnerability remediation across server infrastructure.
  • Monitor server performance, capacity, availability, and trends using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Automate operational tasks using Power Shell and infrastructure automation platforms.
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex server, operating system, and infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with network, cloud, security, and application teams on infrastructure initiatives.
  • Participate in on‑call support and incident response activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of Windows Server administration experience in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with:
    • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
    • Active Directory
    • Group Policy
    • DNS/DHCP
    • Power Shell scripting
    • VMware vSphere or Hyper‑V
    • Windows Failover Clustering
  • Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and server hardening best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM/MECM or Intune.
  • Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS).
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes or Open Shift environments.
  • Microsoft certifications:
    • Azure Administrator Associate
    • Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
    • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
