Job Summary
Responsible for using a variety of methods and tools to contribute to the implementation and control of new or updated supply planning process, execution, and reporting systems. Provide timely, consistent, relevant, and actionable data analyses in support of key supply chain initiatives. Support multiple short and long‑term projects. The position requires 25–50% travel.
Preferred Qualifications- Supply chain / inventory operations experience
- Knowledge of slotting, space management, and inventory control
- Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI skills
- Experience with SAP EWM or similar systems
- Strong data analysis, reporting, and KPI/dashboard development
- Ability to drive process improvements and cross‑functional collaboration
- Perform data management through mining and analysis while executing day‑to‑day processes related to area of responsibility.
- Execute day‑to‑day inventory analytics with respect to fulfillment, replenishment, inventory on hand, transfer activity, aged inventory reduction, forecasting, and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate in the design and development of metrics, dashboards, and reports for areas that measure performance and drive efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.
- Validate and publish reporting to drive cross‑functional business insights.
- Provide support and subject‑matter expertise to develop additional databases and reports.
- Maintain and identify improvement opportunities of various business tools and solutions.
- Document business requirements, functional and system design, processes, and procedures.
- Perform other job‑related duties and ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.
Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. Work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. May provide general guidance, direction to, or train junior level support or professional personnel.
Work EnvironmentLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Occasional need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and ExperienceBS/BA in a related discipline is required. 2–5 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA with 2–4 years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
