Mosaic Wellness & Recovery is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at our new detox and mental health treatment facility located in Johns Creek, Georgia. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced in facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance within a residential or healthcare setting.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
- Repair and maintain doors, locks, walls, lighting, appliances, furniture, and fixtures.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and facility inspections.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs.
- Maintain facility grounds and assist with seasonal or exterior upkeep.
- Identify safety concerns and report operational issues to leadership.
- Assist with room setups, furniture moves, and facility projects as needed.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when appropriate.
- Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and repair documentation.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs required.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioural health, hospitality, or residential settings preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Full-time, on-site position.
- Occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities may be required.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment or supplies.
