Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse  in Buckhead, GA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an essential clinical role providing critical care nursing within a dynamic intensive care unit. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to utilize your specialized ICU expertise to deliver high-quality care to complex patient populations. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team will be highly valued in this environment.

Schedule / Hours
  • Full-time schedule with rotating shifts
  • Coverage may be required on weekends and holidays
Qualifications and Experience
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
  • Experience managing ventilators, drips, and advanced monitoring preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care to critically ill adults, following evidence-based protocols
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
  • Administer medications, blood products, and manage complex IV therapies
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinical staff to plan and coordinate care
  • Respond rapidly and appropriately to life-threatening changes in patient conditions
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation in the electronic health record
