SALES SPECIALIST / SENIOR SALES SPECIALIST

Work Arrangement:Onsite
Salary:$65,000-$80,000
Position OverviewOur client is seeking a proactive, commercially minded Sales Specialist / Senior Sales Specialist to join its Aramid business team. This is a customer-facing sales opportunity designed to develop into an independent account management and business development role. The position will initially support existing accounts, customer orders, and sales activities before progressing toward account ownership and new business development.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop customer relationships and support day-to-day commercial activities.
- Coordinate quotations, pricing, forecasts, orders, product inquiries, and delivery requirements.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer business and develop new opportunities.
- Build knowledge of para-aramid products, customer applications, markets, and competitive trends.
- Manage customer purchase orders and maintain accurate ERP information.
- Monitor demand, inventory, deliveries, and customer activity.
- Identify and proactively resolve customer and order-related issues.
- Support sales forecasting and demand planning.
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, technical teams, warehouses, and headquarters.
- Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Progressively assume greater account ownership and business development responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Business, Marketing, Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. - Approximately 1–5 years of professional experience.
- B2B sales, account management, customer-facing, or industrial experience preferred.
- Para-aramid or aramid industry experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in advanced materials, chemicals, fibers, composites, defense, automotive, or aerospace is a plus.
- Strong interest in sales, account management, and business development.
- Proactive, responsive, organized, and able to take ownership and follow through.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn technical products and industrial markets.
- Comfortable working across functions, cultures, and time zones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a plus.
