• ISBE certified or ASEP certified
• Previous coaching and playing experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Based on experience assigned on the Athletic Extra Duty Stipend Schedule

The JJHS Volleyball Coach will be responsible for helping build and maintain the volleyball program which will include, but is not limited to:

• Helping maintain levels of competition
• Assisting in monitoring all athletes academic progress
• Following and enforcing established eligibility requirements of District 12
• Assisting with individual practices to provide individual and team development
  
  Following team rules and goals that are shared with players and parents
• Following established procedures in the event of an injury to an athlete
• Ensuring all athletes are supervised at all times when involved with team activities
• Acting asa positive role model and maintains proper sportsmanship on the team at all times
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of all equipment
• Attends professional development clinics/conferences specific to volleyball
