Hospitalist Physician

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in New York State
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospitalist services
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage high-volume obstetric cases efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with high-risk obstetrics
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse clinical scenarios
• BLS and NRP certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Prior locum or Temporary Physician experience, particularly in hospitalist roles
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency clinical practice

Other Requirements:

• Must hold current medical licensure and board certification in OB/GYN
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential weekend shifts
• Willingness to travel and complete documentation as required
• Certifications in BLS and NRP are preferred and may be required upon onboarding
