The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities.

Job responsibilities include assessing, planning, delegating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
The RN serves as a primary nurse and is accountable for group patient management.
Patient and family education in health promotion and disease management is essential.
The RN utilizes knowledge of pharmacology and safely administers medications.
Responsibilities also include effective resource utilization.
Compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements is necessary.
The RN actively participates in nursing governance and improvement initiatives.
Engagement in professional development and continuing education is expected.
The RN integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice.
Providing a supportive learning environment for new employees and students is crucial.
The RN follows organizational values and performs other duties as assigned.
Required skills include collaboration, communication, judgment, critical thinking, and organizational understanding.
Preferred skills include clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
The RN holds education from an accredited school of Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Professional certification in a related nursing specialty is a plus.
Relevant skills certifications, such as ACLS or PALS, may be required by assigned units.
English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking is mandatory.
