What You'll DoAs an Audit Senior Associate, you will take an active role in leading engagements, supporting team development, and building strong client relationships.
- Plan and perform audit engagements in accordance with professional standards
- Identify inefficiencies in accounting and operational processes and recommend practical improvements
- Prepare and review complex work papers, financial statements, and disclosures
- Apply professional judgment to analyze findings and draw conclusions
- Serve as a primary contact for clients, maintaining consistent communication throughout engagements
- Manage engagement timelines, prioritize responsibilities, and adhere to budgets
- Review and mentor Associates and provide guidance on technical and procedural matters
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional servic
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm's professional reputation
- 5 + years of audit experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA license preferred or actively pursuing
- Experience with governmental, nonprofit and/or employee benefit plan audits preferred
- Strong understanding of audit standards and financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
