Fitness Center - Front Desk Associate

Work Schedule:
Must be available the following
:

• Thursday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Friday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

* Times or day may vary upon hiring if wanting more hours or we need more coverage for the gym. Will be discussed in interview.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greets and welcomes members and guests in a friendly manner and directs them to the appropriate person for assistance or provides fitness center information.
• Checks in members, collects guest fees, and ensures they are signed in the facilities tracking system.
• Assist with new memberships, renew existing memberships, and ensure all members are up to date on accounts.
• Answers telephone and email inquiries, provides information to members and potential members about the gym, and takes any messages.
• Record tracking of daily member visits, new members, daily revenue, and other reports as required.
• Responsible for increasing new member enrollment and promoting the Gym.
• Assists with sales of merchandise or upselling of higher-tier memberships.
• Helps resolve member issues or conflicts in a professional and effective manner.
• Maintains the organization, stocking and cleanliness of the front desk, restrooms, sauna rooms, towels, retail inventory and all other gym areas.
• Schedules appointments for clients.
• Performs daily walk throughs of the gym to address and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Understand how to quickly learn or know how to operate services and show clients how to safely use them.
• Team Member may be required to perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED required
• Self-sufficient with the ability to multi-task and work independently
• Excellent in customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Competent in problem-solving, building relationships, and flexibility
• Proficient in understanding of fitness equipment and principles.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts, and holidays.
