About

The Role

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategic health, revenue, and profitability of the Polyisocyanurate (ISO) product portfolio. You will act as the Conductor of the Orchestra and harmonize sales activation, technical content creation, and new product commercialization. You will be the internal and external champion for ISO, leveraging customer research and Voice of Customer (VoC) techniques to ensure our insulation solutions lead the market in thermal efficiency and sustainability.

What

You’ll Accomplish
  • Own the ISO segments and go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and execute a multi-year product roadmap that aligns with divisional goals while maximizing segment profitability and market share.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of R-values, thermal performance standards, and competitive ISO/insulation offerings. Develop quantified value propositions that clearly differentiate our ISO line from mineral wool, EPS, or competitive ISO brands.
  • Create the pulp for the sales engine—designing sales tools, technical training, and marketing content that drives lead generation and simplifies the complex technical benefits of ISO for contractors and specifiers.
  • Author business cases and product requirements for the next generation of ISO products (e.g., improved facers, fire‑rated cores). Lead cross‑functional teams through the stage‑gate process from concept to commercial launch.
  • Execute comprehensive launch plans, including volume forecasting, market testing, and conducting internal/external educational seminars on the benefits of ISO systems.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to prioritize process improvements, cost‑reduction initiatives, and margin enhancement through strategic pricing and mix management.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows (e.g., IIBEC, IRE) and participate in PIMA (Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association) or similar technical committees.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Civil preferred), Business, or Marketing. An MBA is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in product or channel management within a manufacturing environment. 10 years of progressive experience in Engineering, Technology, or Sales roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in Polyisocyanurate (ISO) insulation or related building envelope materials is a must.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in taking a building material product from concept stage through full‑scale market launch.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong ability to drive margin improvement through value‑based pricing and portfolio optimization.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; a natural ability to lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a fundamental understanding of chemical/polymer‑based building products.
  • Travel: Ability to travel approximately 25% for site visits, customer meetings, and industry events.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary
  • Retirement Savings:
    Choose from 401(k) pre‑tax and/or Roth after‑tax savings
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Medical, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance
  • Holistic Health & Well‑being programs
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for health and dependent care
  • Vision and other Voluntary benefits and discounts
  • Paid time off & paid holidays
  • Paid Parental Leave (maternity & paternity)
  • Educational Assistance Program
