Resident Service Engineer – Pleasantville, TN
Hours:
Fri–Sun 8:00am–8:30pm (or 8:30am–9:00pm)
Installs, configures, and maintains Packsize equipment solutions on customer sites, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and providing training and support.
Responsibilities- Schedule and perform tasks at customer job sites.
- Diagnose and resolve issues quickly using technical drawings and documentation.
- Work cross‑functionally with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as required.
- Analyze KPIs to identify machine performance problems and perform machine maintenance.
- Continuously learn customer operations, packaging designs, and technical specifications.
- Install Packsize solutions and train customers on usage and maintenance.
- Handle clerical duties: read/respond to emails, submit expense reports, arrange travel, and write technical reports.
- Communicate effectively with Packsize and customer personnel.
- Operate machines: clear jams, load Z‑fold, change labels, bander paper, and apply glue.
- Customer‑service focused.
- Knowledge of Windows platforms.
- Proficient use of hand tools.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Basic Microsoft (Excel, Word) or Google Suite experience.
- Associate’s degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Perform tasks in production or manufacturing facilities. Move in tight spaces, stand for long periods, lift up to 50lb, travel between sites, and ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and stools.
TravelAll work performed at customer facilities. On‑call overnight travel may be required. Travel by vehicle or airplane domestically is expected.
CompensationHourly rate: $37–$40 USD. Final compensation depends on role, experience, education, and special skills.
