Our client is a respected global manufacturing company seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) Engineer to help lead environmental, health, safety, and security initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities in the Eastern Tennessee region.

Responsibilities Include
  • Lead Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs across multiple manufacturing facilities
  • Develop and implement strategic EHSS initiatives that improve workplace safety and environmental compliance
  • Manage departmental budgets and safety improvement projects
  • Represent the facility on the Global EHSS Council
  • Lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety observations, incident investigations, and risk assessments
  • Develop and deliver EHSS training programs for employees and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, TDEC, and other federal, state, and local regulations
  • Manage Workers' Compensation processes and injury reduction initiatives
  • Monitor key performance metrics and recommend process improvements
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment (with degree)
  • 8+ years of manufacturing EHS experience (without degree)
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, TDEC, and environmental regulations
  • Experience implementing or managing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with the confidence to influence all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
