Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) is currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager.
This position is a hybrid position for candidates residing within 50 miles of the following Eaton Sites:

This position requires up to 15% travel to customer sites and project locations.
The Senior Electrical Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of turnkey electrical projects from project award through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance objectives are met. This role partners with sales, engineering, customers, and subcontractors during both the pre-construction and execution phases to drive seamless project transitions, customer satisfaction, and profitable project outcomes.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive pay program (VPP). This is a bonus above and beyond your salary!

What You’ll Do- Lead all aspects of turnkey electrical project execution, including planning, scheduling, risk management, resource coordination, and project closeout.
- Manage project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, profit and loss accountability, cost controls, and change order management.
- Administer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring scope, schedule, and commercial requirements are effectively managed.
- Support estimating, proposal development, and pre-sales activities to ensure successful project handoff and execution.
- Coordinate and manage engineering, design, construction, and subcontractor teams to optimize project performance and productivity.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, action plans, progress reporting, document control, as-built documentation, and punch list completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements through implementation of comprehensive site safety programs and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, contingency planning, and exceptional customer service.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management and/or senior field service experience; OR Associate degree and 7+ years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years of experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing electrical power distribution, switch gear, automation, controls, and/or power systems projects, including multi-disciplinary civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
- 3+ years of experience managing project budgets, forecasts, proposals, schedules, and overall project financial performance.
- Experience in reading complex project schedules in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project scheduling software.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. - Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program and policy;
This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter. - Relocation is not offered. Must currently reside in NC, SC, FL, GA, TN or KY to be considered
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with electrical power distribution systems, switch gear (SWGR), power system engineering, automation, and controls.
