As the Deposit Operations/EFT Team Lead, you are responsible for maintaining the daily functions for all Deposit Operations/EFT duties in addition to assisting in all areas of the operations team where needed. Your versatility and leadership abilities will allow you to assist or lead team projects as they arise. Your sound organizational skills will assist you in being successful in this role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of current banking operations or related experience preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete daily functions for all deposit operation/EFT duties
- Provide support to all areas of the operations team as needed
- Be considered an expert in IRA and HSA accounts
- Complete cross training and development training with team members
- Provide effective employee onboarding, and ongoing training and development opportunities that reflect both the employees’ and the Bank’s needs
- Develop clear guidelines, goals and timelines while working alongside your team toward a common purpose
- Establish an environment of continuous improvement
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback, to team members on a real-time and continual basis and via two-way communication
- Develop an environment where two-way communication is the norm
- Listen to feedback and work with the Deposit Operations Manager to resolve any issues or conflicts
- Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, job knowledge and communication skills
- Identify, discuss and relay employees’ interest in promotional and career development opportunities
- Utilize extreme accuracy in the processing of incoming/outgoing wires and ACH files, confirming authorizations for appropriate signatures
- Verify wire approval levels, movement of funds to/from customer accounts and daily balancing of activity
- Accurately complete end of day processing for wires and ACH files
- Maintain a strong understanding of rules and regulations related to EFT activities
- Research, process and resolve disputes arising from debit card activity
- Identify and develop opportunities to retool and streamline processes and duties
- Appropriately communicate with bank personnel on issues arising from electronic funds transfers
- Conduct research on possible issues with ACH items such as missing payments, returned items, etc.
- Provide direction to the EFT department staff in day-to-day processing of electronic funds transfers and ACH files
- Assist with special projects as requested
- Develop and maintain all policies and procedures for EFT services
- Maintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position operates in a professional office environment. You will be stationary at a workstation, frequently operating a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively with managers and employees. Regular use of email for communication is essential. Must be able to accurately gather and process verbal and written information and properly prepare or inspect documents.
Good manual dexterity is needed for the frequent use of common office equipment, such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers and telephones. Out-of-town or overnight travel may be required.
