Ballad Health's Behavioral Health team at Woodridge Hospital is seeking a PRN inpatient psychiatrist to provide services in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Coverage:
Psychiatrist would primarily cover Woodridge Hospital and help with consults at other facilities

• PMHNP's on staff to assist the unit and to see adult consults.

• Social Workers/ Therapist onsite

• Treatment Team done daily

• RN/LPN/ Tech staff

• Nurse Manager on both units

• Hours/Day: 8-Hour day, can begin at 8am or 9am. 8-5 or 9-6.

• 2nd certs (CON's) during call: 2nd certs are required for any TN admissions which are involuntary. These are done via laptop or tablet and secure portal.

Unit demographics:
Adult, sub-acute population. We do take some Gero-psych patients depending on level of functioning.
Main diagnosis: bipolar, schizo affective disorder, secondary detox, depression, insomnia, suicidal ideations.
EMR: EPIC
