Sr. Technical Business Analyst

Position Overview

The Senior Technical Business Analyst partners closely with the Solutions Engineering team to plan, design, and document large-scale, enterprise-grade technical initiatives within Ntara’s PXM practice.

This role requires deep technical and analytical expertise across modern digital ecosystems—from systems architecture and data modeling to integrations and analytics. Acting as a strategic delivery partner, you will translate client requirements and architectural intent into clear, executable implementation plans while guiding teams through complex, multi-system initiatives.

• Serve as a trusted delivery partner to clients, building strong relationships and developing a deep understanding of their business goals, workflows, and technical environments

• Drive delivery-focused solution strategies aligned with long-term business objectives

• Partner with client and internal leadership to define, prioritize, and maintain digital roadmaps and phased delivery plans

• Lead complex system enhancement and optimization initiatives from discovery through implementation, testing, and deployment

• Provide technical leadership to Technical Business Analysts through delegation, review, mentoring, and escalation support

• Own problem-solving across data models, integrations, workflows, and user experience challenges

• Ensure delivery of scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with architectural intent and documented requirements

• Lead stakeholder interviews and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements

• Own requirements gathering and author detailed functional and technical specifications

• Produce executive-ready documentation, including:

  • System architecture and process diagrams

  • Integration and data flow models

  • Schema-level attribute definitions

  • Cross-system attribute and data mappings

• Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all solution documentation

• Champion continuous improvement by contributing to delivery standards, templates, and internal processes

• Support project and delivery management efforts by proactively communicating risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints

• Maintain an average 80% billable utilization rate

• Accurately track time and effort in alignment with Ntara standards and project expectations

• Proactively communicate availability, delivery risks, and capacity constraints

• Balance utilization goals with delivery quality, technical leadership, mentoring, and internal contributions

• 6–10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role

• 3+ years working with enterprise-scale digital platforms (PIM, DAM, CMS, ecommerce, MDM, or other data-heavy systems)

• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-system implementations and integrations

• Strong understanding of application architectures, APIs, and integration principles

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs

• Ability to read and follow logical code paths (e.g., Java, JavaScript, ASP.NET, VBA) for integration design and troubleshooting

• Proven leadership experience mentoring and influencing cross-functional teams

• Prior consulting or agency experience managing multiple concurrent clients strongly preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience with PIM platforms such as in River, Akeneo, Salsify, or Censhare

• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and hosting environments

• Experience with MDM concepts and implementations
