Summary:

The Digital Care Technical Engineer will receive and respond to telemedicine device specific issues related to the performance of telehealth as they are reported. They will set up workstations and carts with the necessary peripheral devices. The Digital Care Technical Engineer will also be responsible for testing of processes as they relate to digital care specific use of devices. This position will collaborate with IT regarding any non-digital care device issues related to Digital Care.

This position will develop a thorough knowledge of Telehealth related devices, including but not limited to cameras, digital stethoscopes, digital vitals devices, and AI technology. The individual will aid in testing potential Telehealth devices both in a lab environment as well as a clinical environment. The position will provide routine auditing of telehealth devices to ensure proper functionality during emergent use of the device.

Will provide diagnostics of telehealth devices when issues present. Will assist in curating workflows for routinely maintaining devices. The specialist should bear a high level of critical thinking skills to adapt to rapidly changing technology. The Digital Care Technical Engineer will possess the ability to train others, both clinical and non-clinical, on the proper use of technology. The Digital Care Technical Engineer will collaborate on training videos demonstrating the proper use of applications/technologies in training and educational scenarios.

The Digital Care Technical Engineer will be on call on a rotating basis aiding for device repair/replacement as well as device education, training, and technical troubleshooting as needed. The incumbent must have knowledge of various hardware platforms, networking software, networking protocols and operating systems. The Digital Care Technical Engineer must be able to operate all telehealth equipment and other devices appropriately.

Must be able to install software, boards, and perform repairs. This position must provide exception customer service. Maturity, patience, sound judgement are all attributes needed for this position and organization. This person must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate across cross-functional teams. Individual in this position must be able to learn new applications and technology with a minimal amount of training.

Initiative, cooperation, and willingness to work as part of a team are required to carry out job duties.

Requirements: 2-year college degree with 3 years relative experience. In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in the system support, design, analysis and troubleshooting with successful performance in a position of similar duties will be required. Work Requirements:
