Program Manager II, Global Logistics Supply Chain Design

Global Logistics is seeking qualified candidates to join our Exports Supply Chain Design team. Amazon reaches customers around the globe on all seven continents, and enables Sellers to ship cross border using innovative supply chain solutions. The Supply Chain Design team is looking for individuals who want to help ensure a fast cost effective solution to delivering freight across the globe.

Key job responsibilities
  • End-to-end project ownership
  • Following best practices for carrier onboarding/deployment
  • launching and ramping the supply chain solution
  • Monitoring performance through metrics
  • Communicating project status updates to leadership
  • Stabilizing operations
  • Transitioning the program to operations.

This role does not require the ability to write technical code, however, communicating with technical teams will be critical. Ability to write and manage a detailed project plan, drive implementation of the plan, and ensure adequate testing is done throughout the process, is a must. The candidate will thrive off waking up daily and determining how well we performed to our goals, and how we satisfied our Sellers and Customers today.

Functional knowledge of data and analysis tools, standard deviation fundamentals, and graphical data presentation models to highlight wins and misses will be integral to this role.

    Basic Qualifications
    • 3+ years of program or project management experience
    • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
    • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
    • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
    • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
    • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
    • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
    • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

    The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
