Stockroom Aide

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Stockroom Aide to support our healthcare teams by managing the flow of critical supplies and equipment. In this essential role, you'll help receive, organize, and distribute materials to ensure clinical teams have what they need- exactly when they need it.

Compensation Range:

$17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience

You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.

• Maintain designated inventory levels (Just-In-Time/Par levels) at customer locations using handheld electronic devices or computers
• Retrieve stockroom picklists to select requested inventory items and deliver them accurately to the appropriate department
• Check storage locations for out of stock items and promptly notify the Inventory Clerk to initiate reordering
• Transport incoming inventory items from the Receiving Dock to the Stockroom in a timely and organized manner
• Verify received items by matching item numbers and quantities against the associated purchase orders
• Restock incoming inventory items in their correct storage locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization
• Respond promptly to emergency requests for stock items and ensure timely delivery to the requesting department
• Deliver non-inventory items from the Receiving Dock directly to the specified departments as requested
• Assist in inventory control by counting and recording item quantities on worksheets during cycle count activities when assigned
• Monitor expiration dates and report any stock items that are outdated or expired to the Inventory Clerk
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stock areas, including shelves, floors, empty cartons, and pallets
• Use appropriate documentation for outgoing shipments and ensure proper packaging standards are followed

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic, such as: addition subtraction, division and multiplication. Ability to operate all types of Material Handling equipment.

Preferred:

• Previous Stockroom experience. Knowledgeable in inventories.
