Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept environment including parking lot, restrooms, and floors. Requires a positive attitude and ability to be on your feet and on the go throughout the shift.

• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the Facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; perform safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly; correct or report unsafe conditions to Management.
• Clean all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment in accordance with Company procedures.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies; rotate and store chemicals properly; place orders to replenish supplies when low.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00 per hour. The actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or work performed).
