Maintenance Technician

Pay: $25.00 – $36.00 per hour

Job description:

Telos Global specializes in the conception, design, training & consulting services, and production associated with high-quality press hardened steel and aluminum stampings, tooling, and the associated thermal and production equipment.

The maintenance technician oversees the installation and maintenance of PHS, Laser, and support equipment ensuring smooth operation. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular preventive maintenance, following maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.

Shifts available:2nd Shift

2nd Shift

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 2PM – 10:30 PM

Pay: DOE plus shift premium

Overtime:
Required

Shift Premium: 2nd Shift $.50 per hour

Essential Job Functions:

• Servicing and maintaining equipment including hot stamp press, lasers, air compressors, chillers, generators, and all production related equipment.
• Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production equipment.
• Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
• Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
• Conducting routine preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
• Installing new production equipment.
• Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.

Education/Experience Prerequisites:

• 5 years work experience as an industrial maintenance technician
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
• Knowledge of hydraulic and controls systems
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer and report writing skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
• Good time-management skills
