We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join our team within the engineering industry. This role will oversee our custom manufacturing operations, engineered products, and production staff. The individual will have a strong focus on growth, achieving production goals, and manufacturing goals, with a proven track record in managing managers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of custom manufactured products and P&L Responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of custom manufacturing and engineered products.
• Leading, managing, and holding accountable a team of managers and production staff.
• Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve manufacturing and production goals.
• Driving growth and profitability through effective P&L management.
• Ensuring the highest quality of custom manufactured products.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborating with other departments to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Monitoring and reporting on performance metrics, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the engineering industry.
• Proven experience in managing managers, custom manufacturing, engineered products, and P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on accountability and team development.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
• Demonstrated ability to drive growth and achieve production and manufacturing goals.
• Experience in overseeing the production of custom manufactured products.
• Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
