Volunteer : Partnership & Outreach Research Assistant

Develop Africa strategically empowers lives in Africa by providing educational opportunities and strengthening self-reliance so individuals, families, and communities can create positive change in their lives.

Develop Africa is a U.S.

-based nonprofit organization founded in 2006 to expand access to education, skills training, and opportunity for children and youth in underserved communities in Africa—especially Sierra Leone.

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented volunteer to help us identify and connect with purpose-driven small businesses, creators, and entrepreneurs (including many in the faith-and-impact space) who may be open to partnering with us to create real-world impact.

• Research and find
  • Purpose-driven small businesses and brands
  • You Tube channels, coaches, creators, and founders with small–mid-sized audiences
• Build and maintain a simple outreach list (name, website, contact info, notes)
• Help identify partners who care about
  • Impact, generosity, and social good
  • Education, opportunity, and community development
• (Optional) Help draft or send outreach messages using templates we provide

• Comfortable with
  • Google, You Tube, Instagram, and basic web research
  • Spreadsheets or simple tracking tools
• Organized, reliable, and proactive
• Interest in
  • Social impact, nonprofits, education, or purpose-driven business
• Strong written communication is a plus, but not required

• Real-world experience in
  • Partnerships, outreach, and nonprofit growth
  • Research and impact-driven marketing
• A chance to

• Flexible, remote-friendly role
• Reference or recommendation letter available for strong contributors

• Flexible ~3–5 hours per week (or more if you’d like)
