Help Secure Donated Backpacks & School Supplies for Students in Africa
Develop Africa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Johnson City, Tennessee. Since 2006, we have been empowering youth and communities in Africa through education, school supplies, scholarships, computer training, and self‑reliance programs.
Each year, thousands of students lack basic school supplies such as backpacks, pencils, notebooks, and geometry sets. We are launching a focused campaign to secure in‑kind donations directly from manufacturers and importers.
We are looking for a motivated volunteer to help lead this outreach effort.
Role OverviewThe Corporate Partnerships Outreach Coordinator will help identify and contact companies that manufacture:
- Backpacks
- Pencils
- Notebooks
- Pens
- Rulers
- Sharpeners
- Geometry/Math sets
Your goal will be to help secure product donations or bulk discounts for distribution to underserved students.
