Position Overview
United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Cardiology Out‑patient practice at United Health Services Hospitals Wilson Square, Johnson City. The position operates Monday‑to‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with an annual compensation range of $136,600 to $159,300.
Responsibilities- Provide cardiology medical care and treatment to patients in the hospital and office under the direction of physicians.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health‑care needs.
- Record physical findings, formulate treatment plans, and prognoses based on patient condition to ensure excellent care.
- Discuss cases with physicians and other health‑professional team members to prepare comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records and documentation.
- Graduate (or upcoming graduate) of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current certificate of registration from the National Council of Certified Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Anesthetists (NCCPA). Equivalent licensure required for PA.
- Strong clinical knowledge of cardiology and related medical practice.
- Excellent communication, critical‑thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
