Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems.
  • Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal plumbing layouts.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and solutions to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during installation and repair processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including time, materials, and costs.
  • Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls to minimize damage and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Recommend and implement energy‑efficient plumbing solutions and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with team members and other professionals, such as contractors and electricians, on large‑scale projects.
  • Keep up‑to‑date with the latest plumbing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Train and mentor junior plumbing staff, sharing expertise and ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Prepare cost estimates for clients and provide clear, detailed invoices upon job completion.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of plumbing systems.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid plumbing license or certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing repair and installation.
  • Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills for logging service reports and accessing job details.
