Job Responsibilities- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems.
- Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal plumbing layouts.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining plumbing issues and solutions to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations during installation and repair processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including time, materials, and costs.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls to minimize damage and resolve issues efficiently.
- Recommend and implement energy‑efficient plumbing solutions and upgrades.
- Collaborate with team members and other professionals, such as contractors and electricians, on large‑scale projects.
- Keep up‑to‑date with the latest plumbing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Train and mentor junior plumbing staff, sharing expertise and ensuring quality workmanship.
- Prepare cost estimates for clients and provide clear, detailed invoices upon job completion.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of plumbing systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid plumbing license or certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing repair and installation.
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer skills for logging service reports and accessing job details.
