The Wiring Technician will assemble, install and test complex wiring harnesses and electrical systems to produce heavy-duty tow trucks. The technician will ensure all components are wired correctly and function safely.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires with precision using hand and power tools.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting on completed assemblies to identify and correct faulty wiring or component issues.
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels, circuit breakers, switches, and other electronic components according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, making necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure all systems meet quality standards.
- Oversee a safe workspace to ensure work areas are clean and organized, including tools and equipment, to include all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to work effectively to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
- Must have basic hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, sockets, wiring tools, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent experience.
- One to two years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Required knowledge on a variety of hand tools, to include pneumatic tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installation tasks.
- Must understand hydraulics and 12-volt DC electrical systems.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months wiring experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have basic computer skills.

- 4-on 4-off schedule; off half of the weekends during the year
