The City of Johnson City, Tennessee is seeking a Service Technician in the Fleet Management department for second shift (2:30pm–10:30pm). The role performs intermediate skilled mechanical work repairing and servicing a wide range of equipment including automobiles, trucks, tractors, air compressors and various gasoline/diesel machines.
Responsibilities include system diagnostics, major/minor repairs, transmission work, brake maintenance, electrical and HVAC repairs, welding, and fabrication.
