The primary purpose of this role is to provide industry‑leading pest management services for residential customers.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections to identify pest signs, damage, and entry points.
- Apply approved pest control products, including substances, baits, and traps, in accordance with safety standards.
- Educate customers on pest prevention and maintain a pest‑free environment.
- Offer advice to reduce future infestation risks.
- Build customer relationships, schedule appointments, and assist with sales to existing and new clients.
- Maintain, stock, and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
- Drive and safely operate a company‑provided service vehicle (with routine maintenance).
- Work in confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, passageways, and heights.
- Operate around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical currents, fumes, dust, and chemicals.
- Work inside and outside in various local weather conditions, wearing company‑provided weather gear.
- Perform repeated movements—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stair, ladder, scaffolding, ramp, and pole use.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Clean, shaven face for safety reasons (allowing proper seal of rebreathers).
- High school diploma or GED; or related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licenses and certificates required by federal, state, or local regulations (covered by the company).
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday and weekends as needed.
- Readiness to learn and become knowledgeable in all pest control areas.
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills for following product label instructions.
- Customer‑facing experience preferred.
Base hourly pay: $20.00 – $22.00. Pay may vary by location, skill, education, experience, overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
