Location: Dunlap, TN
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Dunlap, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have proven, hands-on automotive repair experience and be capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems. Applicants must be dependable, self-motivated, and have a solid work history with verifiable automotive mechanic experience.
This position is for a qualified technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose issues, and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Requirements- Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable, on-the-job automotive mechanic experience
- Must have reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Must provide professional references and verifiable work history
- Must own and maintain a complete set of mechanic tools necessary for daily job duties
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform repairs according to manufacturer and industry standards
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- ASE Certification preferred
, but not required for experienced candidates
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
- Perform maintenance services, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups
- Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
- Complete inspections and accurately document repair recommendations
- Use diagnostic equipment and repair information systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding vehicle concerns and repair needs
- Strong knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Starting pay of $20.00 per hour
