The Shipping and Receiving Representative is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including palletizing, shipping/receiving, processing returns and order processing. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Shipping and Receiving Representative is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including palletizing, shipping/receiving, processing returns and order processing. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, Inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.Prepare, package, palletize outgoing shipments for accuracy, safety, and timely delivery.Load and unload packages using proper equipment and safety procedures.Receives product deliveries and ensures paperwork associated with the product order is accurate.Inspect, process and document all returned products according to company guidelinesProperly inputs received products into the database systems as neededReceiving medical supply/products from distributors and/or suppliers and arranging or placing in warehouse per organizational and departmental needsPick, Pack and prepare customer order as directed by supervisor and per company polices; this may include packing, sealing, labeling, and affixing postage to customer medical supply orders for shipping while using work devices such as hand tools, scanners, and software tools.Inventory
Maintain organized storage of productsIdentify and report inventory discrepancies to managerWarehouse Support
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas, including quarantine areas and palletizing zones.Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling stairs, and scanners safely.Adhere to company policies, OSHA standards, and warehouse safety requirements.Administrative Support
Provide administrative support including data entry, record keeping, and communication tracking, as neededANCILLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Education:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
b.
Experience:
1-2 years Shipping or Receiving experience in a manufacturing or retail environment and/or inventory/warehouse clerical experience.

Skills:
1. Math: Intermediate level math skills, Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as, proportions, and percentages.2. Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.3. Computer: Knowledge of Word Processing software, Excel, Access and/or other database software.4. Telecommunications: ability to utilize or knowledge of call center telecommunications softwared. Licensure or Certifications required: No certifications needed
