Warehouse Material Handler

Locations: Johnson City

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly, depending on experience

Schedule: Rotating shifts per warehouse needs.

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders by retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities as specified on the pick ticket or computerized screen assigned to a pre‑determined conveyor and/or pallet. This is accomplished by traveling throughout the warehouse’s pick area and building stable pallet(s) of product, meeting or exceeding warehouse and company expectations regarding safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

• Retrieve and place quantities of cases of product onto a pre‑determined pallet as instructed by the assigned pick ticket, ensuring safety and a stable pallet while meeting or exceeding warehouse expectations in safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Travel to and transport pallets of stacked product to different areas of the warehouse via a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) – Pallet Jack – in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist in warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned or as needed.
• Perform daily PIT checklist and alert warehouse management of any issues discovered.
• Correct any mistakes discovered and informed by the checker regarding product or quantity.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse in a dynamic environment.

• Work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30 lbs.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Collaborate within a team environment.
• Coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.
• Adapt to the needs of the role in different work areas throughout the day and meet minimum expectations.
• Read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.
• Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages.
• Work in a noisy and non‑temperature‑controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).

• Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification:
  Pallet Jack.

• High school diploma or GED.
