Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant, Senior Staff Accountant – Our client seeks a Senior Accountant to support the financial operations.

You will earn a starting salary up to $100,000 per year, based on your experience. Plus, enjoy an excellent company benefits package. You will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in a hybrid setting.

Some of your responsibilities as Senior Accountant will include:

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Preparing and analyzing financial reports, annual budgets, forecasts and more
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Managing regulatory filings
• Maintaining accurate accounting records
• Serving as primary accounting resource for payroll, employee benefits and more
• Incentive calculations
• Partnering with other departments to support employee compensation and benefit programs while ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Continuous process improvements
• Managing accounting, reporting, and payment processes
• Serving as back-up resource for cost allocation and analysis
• Other duties as assigned

To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations and more
• Experience supporting payroll, employee benefits and more
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, regulatory reporting and process automation a plus
• CPA required
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll, financial systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Financial reporting experience with strong focus on GAAP accounting
