As a Senior Accountant, Consolidations & SEC Reporting for JD Financial-Johnston located in Johnston, IA, you will:

• Prepare and coordinate the consolidation of worldwide financial results for John Deere Financial, ensuring complete, accurate, and compliant financial reporting
• Prepare and review quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings for John Deere Capital Corporation, ensuring complete, accurate, and compliant external financial reporting, and provide disclosure information to Deere & Company for enterprise reporting requirements
• Research technical accounting and reporting matters, prepare supporting analyses and documentation, and provide guidance on accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments locally, internationally, and at Deere & Company to address accounting and reporting questions, evaluate the impact of business activities and transactions, and provide guidance on financial reporting matters
• Support process improvements, internal control activities, and other initiatives that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of financial reporting

• 4 or more years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering complete, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting

• Certified Public Accountant (active or inactive)
• Experience at a global public accounting firm and/or public company
• Experience preparing or reviewing SEC filings and U.S. GAAP financial statements
• Experience with consolidations, accounting policy application, implementation of new accounting or disclosure requirements, and financial services industry experience
• Financial services industry experience

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience
