This contract position is limited to a 9‑month duration and does not include a transition to full‑time employment. The employee is eligible for two retention bonuses: $1,000 after 3 months of employment and $1,000 upon successful completion of the assignment.

• Interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 6 months of customer service or support experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Comfort and experience with consumer software applications
• Strong computer, research, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work support hours and occasional holidays to support the business

• Knowledge of agriculture customers
• Agriculture operations experience, including precision farming
• Prior work in agriculture or technology dealer channels
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
• Technical certification demonstrating understanding of IT database management (preferred for high school graduates)

Support hours: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm CST, Monday–Friday and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm CST, Saturday.

• Schedule may include occasional holidays and overtime
• Candidate must be available to work any 8‑hour shift within the 7:00 am – 6:00 pm window
• Shifts are subject to change based on volume

• Training and mentoring will occur on the 8:00 am – 4:30 pm shift and last approximately 6 weeks
• Approximately 3–4 months from start date to reach full productivity
• Limited travel to nearby Des Moines Works for a factory tour and to nearby Jensen Farms about twice a year; travel will be shared with a Deere full‑time employee
• Interviews include behavioral‑based questioning; candidates will be asked to provide specific examples
