Pay Rate: $23.00/hour (1-year Contract)

Shift: 7am to 6pm, must be able to work any 8-hour shift between these hours

What's a typical day as a Customer Account Specialist? You'll be:

• Performing credit and collection duties for large and moderately complex customer accounts, including telephone collections, account authorization, and account management
• Collecting past due accounts using available technology and collection strategies
• Negotiating payment plans with customers and evaluating financial statements to authorize credit within company guidelines
• Reviewing account status and recommending and authorizing additional sales to customers
• Assisting with account resolutions for misapplied cash and referring problem accounts to supervisors
• Managing assigned accounts to maintain low levels of delinquency
• Supporting delinquent customers by identifying issues, educating, motivating, and taking action to resolve delinquent accounts while retaining customers
• Using telephone negotiating techniques to build and maintain company, customer, and dealer relationships
• Reviewing payment history and account information, updating/confirming debtor information, and negotiating payment plan modifications
• Administering collection efforts within federal and state regulations and company policy

• Are a recent college graduate, or even a high school graduate with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Thrive on solving problems and working in a global team environment
• Can remain seated for long periods while performing telephone work in a call center environment
• Have the capacity to quickly change focus on work activities
• Possess strong computer aptitude and ability to learn quickly, with familiarity in both mainframe and software applications
• Have knowledge of negotiation techniques (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline is preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available for this position)
