• Valid Iowa teaching license with 5-12 Instructional Strategist I:
  Mild/Moderate required, K-12 Instructional Strategist II: BD/LD endorsement preferred
• Previous special education teaching experience preferred

  • Curriculum is presented from whole to part with an emphasis on what students should know and be able to do
  • Communicates learning goals to students and parents

  • Classroom technology is an integrated part of the teaching and learning process
  • Modifies lesson plans and instructional techniques as required by student learning needs
