Financial Analyst, Accounts Receivable/ Collections
The Credit Analyst Assistant supports the North America credit team by processing deferred payment loan applications, performing basic account reconciliations, and contributing to credit and collections process improvements. This role involves regular interaction with customers, lenders, and commercial business partners to ensure accurate, complete, and timely handling of credit‑related documentation and information.
Responsibilities- Process deferred payment loan applications and verify that all documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers, lenders, and commercial business partners to obtain required information, clarify documentation, and resolve basic inquiries.
- Perform simple account reconciliations to ensure that account balances and records are accurate and up to date.
- Enter and update credit and collections data accurately in internal systems and spreadsheets.
- Support the credit team with general office tasks and administrative duties related to credit and collections activities.
- Participate in process improvement projects to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of credit and collections operations.
- Collaborate with team members to share information, resolve issues, and maintain consistent credit practices across the organization.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel, to manage communications, documentation, and data.
- 1–3 years of general office experience, preferably in a credit, finance, or administrative support environment.
- Experience with credit analysis, credit and collections support, or related financial processes.
- Ability to perform basic account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry, including accurate and timely input of financial and customer information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a structured, process‑driven environment and follow established procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting credit or collections teams in a corporate or financial services setting.
- Familiarity with credit analysis concepts and basic financial terminology.
- Experience participating in or supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Comfort working in a customer‑facing role that involves regular phone, email, and virtual communication.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to a positive, solution‑oriented work culture.
This role is fully onsite, working five days per week at a dedicated office location in Johnston, IA. The position operates in a professional office environment that emphasizes collaboration with the North America credit team and frequent interaction with customers, lenders, and commercial business partners. You will use standard office technology and software, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel, to manage communications, documentation, and data.
The work follows regular business hours and involves a structured, process‑driven setting with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
Contract to Hire position based out of Johnston, IA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $30.00 – $30.00 per hour.
