Mortgage Loans Coordinator

Iowa Bankers Insurance & Services, Inc. (IBIS), a trusted affiliate of the Iowa Bankers Association, is seeking a Mortgage Loans Coordinator to support community banks with accurate, compliant, and efficient mortgage processing. In this role, you will coordinate end-to-end loan documentation, review files for completeness and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with lenders, insurers, and internal teams to ensure smooth, timely closings.

You'll track application status, maintain detailed records, and respond to inquiries from member banks with service-oriented, relationship-focused support. Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end mortgage loan processing and documentation for community bank clients
• Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• Liaise with banks, insurers, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve file issues
• Track application status, deadlines, and conditions to ensure timely closings
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, disclosures, and compliance documentation
• Support lenders with product information, pricing, and loan pipeline reports
• Respond to client and member bank inquiries with professional, service-focused support
• Assist with process improvements and adherence to internal policies and industry regulations
